We provide numerous opportunities to engage with The Ranch community. Whether you relish outdoor activities, have a passion for working with children, are an experienced musician , delight in hosting guests, or wish to showcase your creative talents either in the arts center or in the gardens, there are countless ways to volunteer and immerse yourself in the vibrant life of The Ranch.
Community Quilt Project
Quilters are an integral part of what makes The Bishop’s Ranch the unique and beautiful place it is. Through The Bishop’s Ranch Community Quilt Project we will replace our existing bedding with quilts lovingly created by our very own Ranch patrons. Quilters, individuals and groups may create a quilt for The Ranch lodging spaces to be enjoyed by all guests of The Ranch.
"It has been my privilege to serve as a volunteer Prayer Resident at Bishop’s Ranch since 2012, when I was granted a sabbatical from my church in North Carolina. In addition to the joy of sharing morning and evening prayers with guests, this extraordinary opportunity affords one time for deep personal reflection and solitude, a rare gift in today’s hurried world. The added treasure of working with the remarkable Ranch staff completes the picture, making this volunteer experience one of the most rewarding I’ve ever had."
